“Your testimonies are wonderful;
therefore my soul keeps them.
The unfolding of your words gives light;
it imparts understanding to the simple.”

     (Psalm 119: 129-130, English Standard Version Bible).

God’s testimonies are wonderful and we should keep them. God speaks to us primarily through His Word, Scripture (written Word of God). Other times, He speaks to us through other means such as people, nature, visions, dreams, and so forth (revealed Word of God).

What is important is to listen to God through Scripture and other ways God may use to speak to us.

There are two reasons why we should keep God’s Word with us (written or revealed) and which make them wonderful.

The first reason is that God’s Word gives us Light.

The second reason is that God’s Word imparts understanding and knowledge to the simple.

Today, because you take God’s Word with you, know that God will shine His Light in every aspect of your life!

Because you keep God’s Word in your heart today, knowledge and understanding shall follow you in everything you do!
