Let’s talk about faith, why we need it and how to maintain it. 

The rest of this article will point out into the right direction to help you with that. 

Let me say this: “When you lose faith, you lose everything about who you are!” 

The greatest gift God has ever given to us all is the freedom to believe. That’s what makes us so different from the rest of God’s creation. 

But, what you believe is what matters the most.

Keep in mind that Jesus is the author and finisher of our faith (Hebrews 12:2).  

First, faith in anyone else rather than Jesus Christ is void of God (the source of hope, joy, peace, and love).

Second, faith in anyone else rather than Jesus Christ is temporary. What I mean is that kind of faith ends here on earth.

The reason is that people who choose to believe in Jesus and live by God’s word receive eternal life. It’s the experience of God’s goodness and grace starting here on earth and leading us into eternity even when our physical life ends through death.

Jesus, being the author of our faith implies that even when you feeling like struggling with your faith, talk to Jesus. He will help you with your unbeliefs. I talked about doubts and fears in my last article.

Also, Jesus, being the finisher of our faith, implies that Jesus can help you grow in your faith. Again, talk to Jesus about your need to grow as a believer.
