Staying focused will help you make the next year your best ever. There are three ways you could accomplish all that.

Choose to listen to Jesus Christ

Here are the reasons why you’ve got to listen to Jesus: 

• He is the Word of God (see John 1: 1,2). 
• He is the beginning and the end (Revelations 22: 13). 
• He is the pioneer and perfecter of our faith (Hebrews 12: 2). 
• He is the same yesterday, and today, and forever (Hebrews 13: 8). 

Know your priorities

I use the Ten Commandments as the foundation to help you set your priorities. The commandments are not to inhibit your freedom, but to help you get a clear sense about your priorities: 

• First, God. 
• Honor your family. 
• Establish an emotional equilibrium (balance). 

Last, but not least, walk with somebody

You’re stronger when you are connected with the rest of the body. You conquer more easily when you have other people walking with you.
